Description:

Bend Park & Recreation District maintains and operates more than 3,035+ acres of developed and undeveloped parkland. That includes 81 parks/open spaces and 70 miles of trail. We offer over 1,000 recreation programs for all ages and abilities throughout the area and at the Juniper Swim & Fitness Center, The Pavilion and the Bend Senior Center. We provide a wide variety of program options that offer opportunities for our participants to engage in activities that promote socialization, skill development, and physical activity.

Twenty years ago, some passionate local members of the ski community, came together to provide snow opportunities to members of the community with disabilities. Today, Oregon Adaptive Sports (OAS) is the premiere adaptive sports organization in the Pacific Northwest providing a range of year-round programs. Oregon Adaptive Sports envisions a day when everyone has the benefits of outdoor recreation, regardless of ability. We see Central Oregon as a year-round destination for adaptive sports with OAS as the leader in providing state-of-the-art equipment, professional instructions, staff and dedicated volunteers, resulting in top quality experiences for our participants.
