RideAble is a Center for Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies for individuals with special needs serving the greater Eugene/Springfield area. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 1995 sustained by grants, donations, fundraising events, and, in a small part, income from lessons. We serve anyone living with developmental, emotional, physical or mental challenges; participants span a range of abilities and ages. Along with providing individuals the opportunity to learn overall horsemanship skills, such as tacking, riding, and grooming. We also, provide a PetAble program which is designed for our human friends to connect with all the animals living at our facility, this includes sheep, goats, bunnies and donkeys.
