Abilitree believes in everyone's right to live a full and independent life. First established in 1981, Abilitree mission is to empower people to grow their independence, expectations, and inclusion in community life. To help individuals and their families reach their goals,Abilitree provides support with job placement, skills training, peer support, advocacy, and information and referral.

Welcome to Central Oregon Community College and the office of Services for Students with Disabilities. COCC strives to make available to all students the opportunity for an excellent and rewarding education. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 provide federal guidelines which help the College ensure equal access to all students.

Our mission is to connect families with resources and each other to recognize, promote and value diversity in a welcoming community. CODSN will accomplish this mission by empowering and supporting families and individuals who have been touched by disability. We will work to increase education, promote public understanding and acceptance, and encourage full inclusion of individuals with differences in our community.

The High Desert Education Service District (HDESD) is a regional support system that links school districts in Central Oregon to state and national education resources. Our programs help districts minimize duplication of services, preserve their local budgets and receive special programs that might otherwise be unavailable to them.

The Commission for the Blind has the following program objectives in service to our mission: Helping Oregonians who are blind get and keep jobs that allow them to support themselves and their families, supporting Oregon businesses in hiring and retaining qualified job seekers who are blind in their workforce, supporting youth who are blind in the transition from high school into a career path/employment, training Oregonians in the alternative skills related to blindness such as adaptive technology, white cane travel, braille and activities of daily living, helping seniors and individuals with vision loss who are unable to work live with the highest levels of independence and self-sufficiency so that they can remain independent in their homes and active in their communities, licensing and supporting business owners who operate food service and vending operations in public buildings and facilities throughout the state;

DHS Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) assists individuals with disabilities to get and keep a job that matches their skills, interests and abilities. VR staff work in partnership with the community and businesses to provide services that are individualized to help each eligible person receive services that are essential to their employment success.
