FOOD for Lane County is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank founded in 1984 and dedicated to eliminating hunger by creating access to food. We accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing and packaging food for distribution through a network of 157 social service agencies and programs; through public awareness, education and community advocacy; and through programs designed to improve the ability of low-income individuals to maintain an adequate supply of wholesome, nutritious food. Hourglass Community Crisis Center serves adults residing in Lane County who are in need of short-term, mental health crisis assessment and stabilization, but do not require the medical capabilities of an acute care hospital or longer-term residential care. Hourglass Community Crisis Center welcomes individuals to walk in when they need it, or they can be referred by local law enforcement and other community partners due to a mental health crisis.

With a primary mission to offer help and hope for children and families, Jasper Mountain has developed specializations in areas such as attachment issues, sexual reactivity, anti-social and violent behavior and treating severe trauma. We have experience with adopted children including foreign adoptions and subsequent challenges for parents. All programs are guided by the agency philosophy to treat the intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of the child thus treating the whole person. MTFC is an alternative to placement in group/residential care settings or to incarceration or psychiatric hospitalization. In MTFC, youth are placed singly in well-trained and supported community foster homes. MTFC includes multi-level interventions in family, community, and school settings. Youth receive individual therapy, skill training, and academic supports. Their families receive family therapy.

RideSource is an origin-to-destination transportation for people who are unable to use the bus due to a disability. The service operates within the Eugene/Springfield metropolitan area, and operates the same hours as the bus.

RISE provides services for people with disabilities including residential settings, day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and home and community based services. RISE also provides services for children and families through foster care and professional parenting, adoption, kinship care, after school and summer programs, behavior supports, and mental health services. In addition, RISE provides Early Intervention services which includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Developmental Specialists.

SAFE stands for Stabilization, Assessment and Family Evaluation. The SAFE Center is a nationally accredited (Council on Accreditation) and state licensed residential treatment center for children ages 3-13. The program provides an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. Length of stay in the program typically ranges from 3-90 days, but can go longer if deemed appropriate by the child's community team.

Senior & Disability Services provides services, information, and assistance to Lane County older adult population, adults with physical disabilities, and their caregivers. SCSEP is for low income seniors who seek employment, training assistance, and social engagement. Through the transitional employment program, SCSEP partners with community-based non-profit organizations and government agencies to provide participants with training opportunities to update their skills. A range of supports and services are available through the Accessible Education Center to eligible students who encounter barriers to full access or participation in the physical, curricular, or informational environments within the university. The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Willamalane Park and Recreation District maintains and operates five recreation facilities and 46 parks and natural areas totaling nearly 1,500 acres. Willamalane is a special tax district, separate from the city of Springfield, with its own boundaries. It is governed by a five-member, elected board of directors and managed by a district superintendent.
