Access provides utilities assistance and home weatherization, senior assistance, affordable housing, home purchase resources, foreclosure prevention and rental assistance, a housing list (one for general public and another for those with disability) emergency food boxes, food pantries, veterans and families program, and medical equipment resources.

The Ashland Emergency Food Bank, in alliance with the community at large, provide emergency food supplies, without charge, to individuals and families in the Ashland/Talent area.

The Senior Services Division offers support services and a variety of free or low cost recreational, health promotion, and educational opportunities at the Ashland Senior Center, located in Hunter Park.

Compassion Highway Project provides community outreach, food, clothing, hygiene products, blankets and crisis housing to those in need.

Food & Friends delivers meals to the homes of seniors and eligible adults who are unable to shop or prepare meals due to illness, injury, or disability. In addition to the meals they provide vital social contact and a regular safety net check to clients.

Laundry Love is a neighboring movement that partners with groups, schools and local laundromats to wash the clothes and bedding of low-income and/or no-income families and individuals.

OHRA provides assistance with employment, housing, shelter, counseling, essential services, and showers and laundry.

OCDC has many programs, and they work together to help young children and their families grow, learn, and succeed. Many of the services support migrant and seasonal farm workers and their young children. Other programs are open to families living at or below the federal poverty level. The child care and early education programs serve infants through five year olds, and our parent programs are open to all parents that have children enrolled in programs.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
