Options Counseling and Family provides family preservation, behavioral health services and other family supports to families and individuals in 11 Oregon counties. Options providers use a family centered approach, in which the family knowledge of their own strengths and needs is the primary resource.

OCDC has many programs, and they work together to help young children and their families grow, learn, and succeed. Many of the services support migrant and seasonal farm workers and their young children. Other programs are open to families living at or below the federal poverty level. The child care and early education programs serve infants through five year olds, and our parent programs are open to all parents that have children enrolled in programs.

The Commission for the Blind has the following program objectives in service to our mission: Helping Oregonians who are blind get and keep jobs that allow them to support themselves and their families, supporting Oregon businesses in hiring and retaining qualified job seekers who are blind in their workforce, supporting youth who are blind in the transition from high school into a career path/employment, training Oregonians in the alternative skills related to blindness such as adaptive technology, white cane travel, braille and activities of daily living, helping seniors and individuals with vision loss who are unable to work live with the highest levels of independence and self-sufficiency so that they can remain independent in their homes and active in their communities, licensing and supporting business owners who operate food service and vending operations in public buildings and facilities throughout the state;

Developmental Disabilities Councils consist of volunteers appointed by governors, over half of whom must be people with developmental disabilities or their family members. They engage in systemic change, capacity building, and advocacy activities that:
Educate the public;
Develop and support coalitions;
Inform federal, state, and local policy makers;
Demonstrate new approaches to services, supports, and other assistance;
Outreach to those who might not come to the attention of the Council;
Assist neighborhoods and communities to respond positively to individuals with DD and their families;
Foster interagency collaboration and coordination, including related Councils, committees, and programs;
Eliminate barriers and enhance citizen participation.

In-home care for seniors.

RISE provides services for people with disabilities including residential settings, day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and home and community based services. RISE also provides services for children and families through foster care and professional parenting, adoption, kinship care, after school and summer programs, behavior supports, and mental health services. In addition, RISE provides Early Intervention services which includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Developmental Specialists.

Swindells Resource Center of Providence Child Center supports parents and caregivers of children who have special needs, developmental delays or disabilities. They provide resources, information and education to communities throughout Oregon and southwest Washington.
